Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup Company, was recently presented the Large Station Alaska Airlines Fueling Operations 2017 Safe and Reliable Award for its exemplary fueling services.
Boise Airport (BOI) is the busiest airport in Idaho and one of the largest non-hub stations for Alaska Airlines. Western Aircraft is the largest supplier of fuel for BOI delivering more than 21 million gallons of fuel per year. It has been providing fuel services to Alaska Airlines for more than 33 years.
“Western Aircraft is extremely reliable and has seamlessly adjusted to the growth of our operations,” said Alaska Airlines Director of Fuel Operations and Infrastructure
Gregory Smith. “Its team has a strong emphasis on safety, reliability and timely support and sets the standard for effective fueling operations within Alaska Airlines.”
“We are extremely honored to receive this award from Alaska Airlines,” said Western Aircraft’s Line Service Manager Dan Milender. “We take great pride in delivering safe and reliable service and to be recognized for it by a company such as Alaska Airlines is truly rewarding.”
Western’s Fixed Based Operation provides fuel support for general and corporate aviation and airlines. Milender added that they recently added a third 7,000-gallon truck with a lift deck to its fleet to provide even more reliable, safe service to large aircraft.
