Banyan Air Services Update

Banyan Air Service MRO has added the Bombardier Global 5000/6000 to its Part 145 Repair Station capabilities. This airframe joins the growing list of large category airframes that includes the Falcon 50/900/2000, Challenger 604/605/300/350, the Gulfstream G-IV/G-V/G-550, and now the Global 5000/6000. The Banyan Team is able to offer all major inspections and repairs, comprehensive avionics repair and installation support, as well as support for both complete paint and interior refurbishments. “Banyan’s model has always been to grow our capabilities in the MRO as our customers grow.


Banyan also has recently become a Honeywell MSP Line Maintenance Channel Partner. This allows the Banyan MRO to provide line support for the HTF-7000, 36-100/150 APUs and TFE-731.

Banyan Avionics offers Numerous Options for Connectivity to its Customers

The Banyan Avionics team is putting the finishing touches on a VIASAT KA high-speed satellite system for an international Global Express 5000 customer. In addition to the KA system, the aircraft is also receiving the GOGO Avance L5 WIFI system with 5G provisions.

In addition, the Banyan team recently wrapped up two Gulfstream G-550’s with the installation of the Bongiovi Aviation Speakerless sound system. This system utilizes 52 transducers and three sub woofers to provide a total immersion in sound. Both of these Gulfstreams also received the GOGO Avance L5 system as well.


Banyan was just awarded a multiple STC for the installation of the GOGO L3 Core & Plus WIFI system on the popular Honda HA-420 HondaJet.
